G.I. Joe will the Cobra rise or fall this weekend?!?

So one of the last big action filled movies of the summer is upon us. G.I.Joe: Rise of the Cobra from early screenings its a fun filled cartoony action packed film. But why would Paramount not let critics review there movie? Well the answer is most critics slammed Transformers 2 another Paramount film and they don't want them doing the same to there last summer blowout movie! It's not only critics who think this film will do bad, it is the fans as well! So Paramount doesn't want the negative press from the critics, but to me this makes people think even more negative about the film. But one of the few early reviews on G.I.Joe: Rise of the Cobra is a good one from Here is what they had to say: "You will be thoroughly entertained by this movie that simply never lets up on the action." So here is the take, it is all in the eye of the beholder! The main reason I still am interested in this film is two words Snake Eyes! So make your decision wisely on this next summer action flick!

2 Not so hyped New Movies

First off is the "love documentary" called Paper Heart. Starring Charlyne Yi who sets out on a journey to find out if true love does exist. She interviews all types of people from friends to strangers to romance novelists and even children. She ask them all there interpretation of love and does it exist. But on this journey she finds someone dear to her heart Michael Cera of Superbad (Unrated Widescreen Edition) fame and the camera rolls on while these two connect. This "documentary" looks interesting and fun to me. So check out the trailer for the film Paper Heart.

Next up is the film
I Sell the Dead A movie about 19th century grave robbers who have finally met there fate with the justice of the land. This story reflects on a young boys humble beginnings from stealing little things to stealing corpses and through these days he meets a grave digger by the name of Willie Grimes and they hunt down creatures who do not want to enter there final resting place. This film is getting a limited release. I for one will be going out to see this where ever I can. Here is a trailer for the film

So will you go out and see the supposed last big action blockbuster of the summer? Or will you take your viewing eyes to one of these less talked and hyped films?
