Do you hear that moaning as you leave the bar at 2 a.m.? It could be all the zombie fans lurking the streets this weekend. The one answer is Zombieland infects movie theaters around the states this Friday 10/3/09. This movie looks like tons of fun with Woody Harrelson going toe to toe with all sort of zombies. And from all early viewings of the film, it will be a smashing good time! It looks like a mix of Shaun of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead . So I am sure we can except the dead walking, running and coming to eat any human, with a shot of comedy thrown in! So who's down for killing some zombies?? I know I will check it out and be back...

Inglorious Bastards had a record-breaking opening weekend for the month of August. It raked in $38 million its first weekend. With District 9 coming in 2nd place following its strong opening day release. Some people say this is one of Quentin Tarantino's best films. He used a FEW factual events. And ALOT of his imagination in this re-make. And people are loving Brad Pitt's southern twang voice saying "Our business is killing Nazis." So with Inglorious Bastards kicking the ass of some Nazis soldiers to District 9 alien slum story. So one of the last big action filled movies of the summer is upon us. G.I.Joe: Rise of the Cobra from early screenings its a fun filled cartoony action packed film. But why would Paramount not let critics review there movie? Well the answer is most critics slammed Transformers 2 another Paramount film and they don't want them doing the same to there last summer blowout movie! It's not only critics who think this film will do bad, it is the fans as well! So its another year of the biggest pop culture event Comic Con in San Diego. Comic Con is not just nerds with smelly armpits discussing the latest comic book news. It has become one of the biggest events for movie news and trailers! Movie stars were in full force the first 2 days at Comic Con. You had Johnny Depp to Kristen Stewart and the whole Twilight cast! Early word is that Twilight has ruled the Comic Con buzz. There were reports of lines so long to get into the Twilight Q and A. But besides the vampire followers of Twilight to me the big news was the release of the first Alice in Wonderland trailer! So here is the long awaited...

The Watchmen DVD is released today. With that being said the Watchmen (Director's Cut) (Two-Disc Special Edition + Amazon Digital Bundle + Digital Copy) is suppose to be the way we all should see this film. I can't wait to see the full directors cut. The Director's cut has a running time of 186 minutes and it is how Zack Snyder intended on the movie to be seen.Everyone thought this would never work as a film, but I think Zack Snyder delivered with The Watchmen. And I'm sure with this Directors cut of the film I will believe that even more. So I will be out getting a copy of this Directors cut and screaming out The world will look up and shout...

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince made $79.5 million over the weekend. And it did a whooping $159.7 million since its Wednesday release. Which is surprising since it is said this is the darkest of all the Harry Potter films. That didn't stop people from seeing it. From kids to adults, they all went out at 12am or this weekend to see there favorite wizard named Harry on the big screen. The same can't be said for Sacha Baron Coen's Bruno. Bruno only made a dismal $8 million on its second weekend. I have not seen it, but from what I heard on its opening weekend people were walking out of the theater before it end. So we can say Bruno = FAIL....

So the more I read or see stuff on G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra the more I think it is going to be a disaster. First off you have the "X-men looking super suits" which look so ridiculous, since when did G.I. Joe turn into Iron Men? And the suits are based of the G.I. Joe cartoon Sigma 6, which also was made into a comic book by http://devilsdue.net/BUT I'm sure everyone who grew up in the 80's wanted this movie to be like the 80's cartoon. Will it be? I'm not sure, but I highly doubt it. To me it looks like a big pile of dog sh*t, but that is just me. The one thing that caught my eye and looks totally bad ass is Snake Eyes. Snake Eyes is played...

Well its about to be July 4th. That means cookouts, fireworks, beer and summer movies are in full effect. And this week a movie I've been wanting to see since the day I saw the first trailer is Public Enemies. Starring Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard. This film is directed by Michael Mann. It is a story about the infamous bank robber John Dillinger. From early reviews it seems to be a good movie! I am hoping so, I will be seeing it later this July 4th weekend and I will post my thoughts on it then. Well the big news this weekend besides the passing of Michael “The King of Pop” Jackson, was that Transformers 2 destroyed the box office! Transformers 2 raked in a bank roll of $ 201.2 million for its opening weekend. That comes in second place all-time, first place of course is last years blockbuster The Dark Knight. Even though almost every critic from here to Cybertron said this movie was a lame excuse for a movie. I have not seen it yet, but I am planning on it later this week and I will post my review here.
